About DualView — why we built it

We believe you shouldn't have to choose between watching and making progress. DualView layers dual subtitles, a click-to-dictionary and active recall right onto the player you already use, so every episode becomes a lesson.

Why we built DualView

The hardest part of learning a language was never effort — it's not having an environment where you use it every day. Vocabulary books, apps, online courses: bought, downloaded, signed up for — and dropped a few weeks later, because once the lesson ends there's nowhere to use it, and what you don't use, you forget.

We also believe habits need a pull, not just willpower. And there's one thing almost everyone does willingly, every single day — watch shows. So we built DualView: not to make you study, but to let the language come along while you watch the shows you already want to watch.

What DualView is

DualView is our self-developed AI language-learning product, delivered as a browser extension with a subscription (SaaS) service: it shows two subtitle languages at once on Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, YouTube, Udemy, TED and Coursera, with click-to-dictionary, sentence replay, active recall, AI sentence-by-sentence translation and AI example sentences tailored to you. The core features are free, need no account, and your viewing stays on your device; advanced AI features unlock with a subscription.

DualView is a product we've built in-house from the first line of code — the browser extension, the backend and the AI learning engine are all designed and developed by our team, and run as a subscription SaaS.
